Does the homeowner association have an ordinance saying no poultry on your land?

If so, the scripture that comes to my mind is:

"Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God." --1 Peter 2:13-16

If you have not done so already, you may want to ask the association if you can keep a couple of hens as pets. If they do not let you keep them on your property still, then I would keep their ordinance inasmuch as it does not cause me to disobey God.

If this ends up being the case with you, is there a piece of undeveloped property near your neighborhood where you could keep the hens and coop? It may not be feasible to purchase a small plot of suitable land, but if there is farmland or other natural land nearby, you could ask the owner for permission to use a little tract for your hens.

Greetings and thanks for getting back to me so quickly--I know that you have a lot to do.

The HOA says no poultry and I have no mind to have long distance chickens subject to the foxes, possums, dogs, hawks, owls, and other predators that go through great lengths for a chicken dinner. Couldn't check for eggs daily , etc.

I'm still thinking about where I'd keep the chickens. Maybe in the end I won't get my chickens, but maybe I'll talk to the HOA first and bring forth my strong reasons.

The older I get and the more I learn, the more I want to be free. How do you pay for a house and a piece of land and somebody tells you what to do on it? Ask my daughter about an HOA and she'd let you know in short order she's wouldn't be interested in it.

At a certain point, I believe they'll make it illegal to own your own animals regardless of where you live. All food will come from approved farms. If I were alive under such circumstances, I'd break the rule.

As Carla Emery notes, many chickens have lost their mothering instinct (so have women). In the video I plan to send you, you'll see that the false scientists are not satisfied with that. They are genetically taking out the mothering instinct further--genetically. There are still a few heritage breeders that sell those few reliable mothers.

If you have want a self-sustaining flock you need a father and a mother that will be a mother (you may be able to get a duck to sit on the eggs if you had to). The criminals that are hijacking our food supply are insuring that all will be under their grip. There are others hijacking the world's water supplies--the corporations with the money to build the dams and who spray the surface water of the reservoirs to prevent evaporation and then supposedly shoot something in the sky to make it rain. These criminals gain control over water and then lord over the farmers by not releasing the water. I heard that some may have put birth control chemicals (and whatever else they want to) into the water in this country.

I read a Bill Gates quote on how he "used to" subscribe to Malthus. Gates' father was something like a president for Planned Parenthood. In fact for his father's 80th birthday, I think Gates donated $80 million to the grisly Planned Parenthood--I read they'll treat a five year old with veneral disease who is brought in by her father and won't report it. I read of one woman, a teenager used by her father who was strapped to one of their tables against her will and given an abortion. In talking about PP, we are getting into eugenics, Blavasky, Bailey, Esoteric Christianity, and the theosophists. Those poor, starving, thin people are not lazy and backward because they are not industrialized. They've been plundered and left to deal with the consequences.

[Aside: Marxism is dressed up Roman recusancy/despotism. It is not a political system. It is recusancy in a new form and peddled as a government. I inquired about 20+ acres of land in Virginia. They told me that I could have up to one cow per acre and that I couldn't have a trailer. No thanks. I'm not buying property for somebody to tell me what to do.
