Dear VigilantWatchman:

Thatman is under a spirit, one that I am acquainted with.

Before I go on, let me first ask a question: What kind of peace can there be if one does not know and acknowledge the truth? In this dangerous and perilous day and age should I be over here grilling on the barbeque grill and eating bon-bons and talking only about the goodness of God and thinking peaceful thoughts? Anybody that would suggest it, is in the deepest of deception. That is the kind of person, I perceive, that Satan likes best. Because that kind of person will go around preaching false doctrine and hindering the true workers and prophet--just like Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah who smote Micaiah on the cheek in I Kings 22. Thatman may not have punched you with his hand, but he did with his words.

What kind of preacher would tell someone not to watch in these end times? Only one who is under the spirit of antichrist and covering up for antichrist--whether he knows it or not. Thatman's response is almost unbelievable, but I believe it. The dumb dog preachers cannot bark. And when you bark, the church people turn around as if something were wrong with you. It happens all the time. I've been through it over and over again. You can have "peace" with church people as long as you keep quiet about the truth. I've been through the cycle over and over again. I think someone once told me (or my sister-in-law) "You've got to think positive."

This is Satanic. And that spirit that is deceiving Thatman will probably follow you around just like the woman with the spirit of divination kept following Paul and Silas in Acts 16. Not only is Thatman in deception, but that spirit has turned it around to make him think that something is wrong with you! I would not be surprised if he emailed you again about it, or called you, or "prayed" for you, or invites you to dinner, or wants you to present yourself to him and the other "brethren" so that they can "talk some sense into you". Don't walk into the trap.

The nature of deception--

1) To believe a lie; and
2) To disbelieve the truth.

Believing a false doctrine, watching television, etc. opens you up to the power of the devil because you are in a lie. The people with these spirits all act the same and oftentimes will use the same words and phrases regardless of where they come from. When I was online answering emails, I literally heard from people all over the world. I had the opportunity to observe, first hand, these patterns.

There are spirits. Our warfare is not against flesh and blood--it is against spirits. Wicked spirits that are influencing those who do not receive the love of the truth.

I asked you about the pre-tribulation rapture heresy. I needed to hear from you about it. It sounded like your associates believed it as most church people do. I don't know if you discussed it with Thatman or not. But if he went on still in that deception, he was only strengthened in it because he did not search out the scriptures. Something is very wrong with him. There is a spirit world.

When people walk around believing in a "pre-trib rapture" they think that they are going to miss tribulation. They preach to the people that will listen to them. They are found false teachers before God because they are preaching a false message. I don't know what Thatman believes, but I'd be surprised if he didn't believe in a pre-trib rapture. Whatever the case, he is under deception. I just don't know the heresies he believes. He may have stepped out of the visible church, but he took her false doctrines with him.

These are spirits.

Dear Mephibosheth:

> True to your warning, Thatman did call me. He said he had not read all of the
> email, but still he gave me his opinions on it. Then he got off the phone,
> and I had barely said a word.

> This deception of not watching is evident in my family, and at every
> church that I've ever been to. It seems people think that once they know
> the Lord, they can continue walking in their ways doing what they want to
> do. There is not a thought that God has a way for them.

> I asked my mom why, when given the choice,
> would a Christian chose to go watch a movie when they could read the Bible
> or pray or do something for the Lord. She looked at me like it was a very
> strange question. She said that you can meet with the Lord and feel His
> influences watching a movie just as much as when you read the Bible. I was
> shocked at the deception there. I didn't even know what to say. She later
> told me that we are on completely different pages when it comes to serving
> the Lord, and I agree. All I can speak to her about are small things. When
> anything serious or important comes up, there is no agreement.

> I am still staggered how so many people can look at the same scriptures
> and come up with such wildly different interpretations. So much deception!

People who fight for antichrist won't let you get a word in edgewise. If you do get a word in, it is ignored. I did not know why people kept calling me and trying to talk to me when they would not let me speak. I got tired of listening to them lying on the truth so I stopped answering the telephone. One woman came over here telling me that she was called to preach (she had all kinds of personal problems). I told her that she couldn't and showed her the scriptures prohibiting women preaching and basically told her to get out. Before she left, she told me concerning what I showed her,

"The devil is a liar."

After all the showing of the scriptures, she called me an agent of the devil.

I was on the Deception 18 (The Mother) page and took a moment to read the opening paragraphs. If I had seen that years ago, I would have slurped it down like the finest drink on the market. I would have been so glad that somebody told me the truth.

There are two classes of people--

1) Those that receive the love of the truth; and,
2) Those that don't

You oftentimes can't tell at first which category a person is in. I've learned the hard way why the Bible says "lay hands suddenly on no man". Once I was praising the Lord for someone's testimony only to find out that they were Catholic or in some other error. In this increasingly deceived world, there are fewer and fewer real Christians. More than once I've thought about some of the movies I saw in my past. One theme was when everybody in society was possessed and the protagonist was the only normal person. I believe that more than one book and one movie was created in order to show the powers that be the results of their witchcrafts. All society will be watchdogs to turn in dissidents. This is consistent with the scriptural teaching about the last days how people will betray one another, even family members.

My father thought I was crazy when I got saved and never changed his opinion about it. Me staying out all night as a heathen was NEVER questioned. But when I got saved, my mother told me one day, "Your father and I were concerned that you may have joined a cult."

When I first found myself here in the wilderness, it was tough--but that did not last long. I love being separate from all the drama that I experienced in the midst of church people. Some new people recently entered my life but neither relationship could work. I'm too old to let people box me in while they tell lies and waste my time and expect me to be silent. People do not listen to your words but Satan will have them keep taking up your time. Outside of my daughter, my writings, and occasionally you, I do not have substantial conversations with any others. Just reading what you wrote about Thatman that first time bothered me. His punch went past you to me.

I will cease now.
