Notes:

• We started school with a special Orientation Week and then followed the schedule. What you read on this page would be found on the Year 1 Schedule where it says, "Language Arts Study".
• At this time Hannah is 57 months old.
• We started school in September. By January, she could read and write cursive. At that point, I soon began to write the copy work in cursive so that she could get regular practice reading it. A good idea at this time is to have the scholar alternate between copying in cursive and copying in manuscript.
